The Space Shuttle Discovery atop NASA’s 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft makes a spectacular low altitude pass over Patrick Air Force Base to show off the Orbiter prior to landing at Kennedy Space Center. The flyover occurred at about 9:52 a.m. on 21 August 2005 marking the end of mission STS-114 which was forced to land at Edwards Air Force Base in California due to bad weather in Florida.
