The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex displayed one of the Falcon Heavy Test Flight boosters that had previously flown on CRS-9 on 18 July 2016 having launched and landed on two SpaceX missions. The booster was laid out horizontally on its transporter in front of the Atlantis exhibit with the full-size mockup of the Space Shuttle's External Tank and Solid Rocket Boosters towering overhead. | |

Note the landing legs have been removed leaving clean white spaces contrasting with the sooty and charred areas from launch, entry, and landing. |
