The International Space Station (ISS) and the space shuttle Discovery streak across the backyard sky in this time exposure taken at approximately 5:50 a.m. on 5 November 2007. Discovery had undocked from the Station at 5:32 a.m. but had not moved far enough away to cause a noticeable streak of its own. The ISS and Discovery are moving from left (coming out of the south-west) to the right (going north-east) in the image. | |
