A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched 60 Starlink satellites into orbit at 3:24 a.m. on 4 March 2021 from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center. The first stage being used is launching for the eighth time having previously launched Irididium-8, Telstar 18 VANTAGE, and five previous Starlink missions. The first stage booster successfully landed approximately eight minutes after launch on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship stationed out in the Atlantic Ocean. This launch eventually happened after multiple technical delays caused other missions to move ahead of it in line.

The Starlink satellites will eventually form a constellation around the Earth providing global satellite-based internet access.
