Around 11:00 a.m on 14 May 2016 the SpaceX Falcon 9 first stage was transported on a trailer from Port Canaveral back to a SpaceX facility inside Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
Half hidden by the foreground building, the lower half of the first stage can be seen on the road. The large building on the horizon is the Eastern Processing Facility where unmanned spacecraft are prepared for launch.
The first stage passes through the gate into Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
The booster passes by the SpaceX Launch Control Center.
A wide-angle view of Port Canaveral. At the center of the image is the SpaceX droneship docked near the yellow crane used to unload the first stage from the barge.
The "Of Course I Still Love You" droneship barge waits to head out for the next recovery attempt of a SpaceX Falcon 9 first stage.
