Ares 1-X standing 327.4 feet tall dwarfs the former shuttle launch pad and is almost as tall as the Saturn V rockets that lifted off the same pad many years earlier. The “Go Ares” banner is on display at the U.S. Space Walk of Fame in nearby Titusville.
