Launch Complex 39A Kennedy Space Center |
A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the SES O3b mPOWER mission carrying satellites 7 & 8 to medium Earth orbit from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at Kennedy Space Center at 5:26 p.m. on 17 December 2024. Following stage separation, Falcon 9's first stage landed on the Just Read the Instructions droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. This is the first flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission. |
